To My Friends

funnygirlwithakeyboard:

A smile is cheer from you to me,
the cost is nothing its given for free.
They console the weary and gladden the sad.
And can make someone happy when they are mad.
Unlike blessings in which we pray
it’s the only thing you keep when you give it away.

AND THE REST OF YOU TOO

D’awww so cute and sweet Mel

Fun fact: I am not allergic to poison ivy. My mother is. We discovered this one year when I picked her a Mother's Day bouquet while we were at a rodeo.

Woah seriously? Like you don’t even get a rash or anything like others do? That’s actually pretty cool!

Fact: I’m actually not allergic to anything even though my doctor says there’s traces of allergies in my blood. But since you mentioned picking flowers I will admit that I do have a bit of a green thumb and absolutely adore plants and flowers. I have two flower pots on my desk that I have kept alive for almost a year now and I’m quite proud of that. If I could I would have my own garden but I live in apartments so I really can’t.

I see dead people.

Really? That’s actually pretty cool with a spooky edge to it and I know there is some skeptics out there but to be honest I’m not a skeptic at all.

Fact: My grandmother used to be friends with this witch doctor I guess you could say and when I was born they took me to go see her and according to my mother the lady said that I had to have a cleansing right away because she saw a lot of spirits wanting to do me harm and that I had to wear a red ribbon until I turned eighteen because the world would try to do me harm. Well the ribbon thing didn’t work out but my mom does make me wear a red and black beaded bracelet to provide me protection from bad thoughts directed at me

I pee standing up. XD
Anonymous

Oh, well that’s nice and whether you’re a guy or a girl you go ahead and pee however you want. I don’t judge xD

Fact: When I was small I remember my childhood friend saying that girls were weird and since I was a girl that mostly hanged out with boys I refused to be weird or different so I told him that girls weren’t weird and that we can do anything guys can so he told me, “I bet you girls can’t pee anywhere they want.” And I was like, “You’re stupid. Yes we can!” So I went behind a bush in our yard and it didn’t end well…

When I was really little, my sis watched this Disney movie about the boogeyman, and after they said his name (Boogedy) three times, he could appear. One part had him coming from a closet. (I wasn't even 4, bear in mind.) to this day, I cannot sleep if I see my closet door open or light shining through the crack under it. I know better, being 31, but one little corner of my brain won't drop the fear that something is going to sneak out and get me when I sleep.

Being four is definitely too early and young to be watching horror movies that could haunt you! D: Poor Sami but I wouldn’t blame you for having that fear despite your age.

Fact: When I was younger I used to be terrified of that killing doll named Chucky and I had this one cousin who absolutely loved him so she had her whole room with nothing but those evil dolls. And one time when I went over to visit I played hide and seek with her younger sister and it was my turn to hide so I accidentally went in that room and locked the door until to turn on the lights and scream bloody murder when I saw the dolls everywhere. To this day I’m still I’m still a bit creeped out by that doll.

I have been stabbed before
Anonymous

Oh wow, really?? Σ(゜゜) I hope it wasn’t anything too serious and that you’re okay! I’m curious as to why you got stabbed though but that’s your business~

Fact: One time I was doing my homework on my bed so I had my things all scattered around and a mess. Somewhere along the line I lost my pencil and I began to look for it by moving around all my papers and I got a little frustrated so I slammed my hand down on my bed only to find my pencil because I stabbed my hand with it. Now I have a scar that’s a dot and I do my homework on my desk

ONE TIME WHEN I WAS LITTLE MY BIG SISTER TOLD ME THIS STORY ABOUT A PSYCO WOMAN SNEAKING INTO ANOTHER WOMANS HOUSE AND LIVING UNDER HER BED. BUT THE WOMEN DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL LIKE 2 MONTHS LATER WHEN THE POLICE CAME INTO HER HOUSE. AND MY SIS USED TO SAY "YOU SHOULD LOOK UNDER YOUR BED" IT'S BEEN 10 YEARS AND I STILL CHECK UNDER MY BED
Anonymous

Oh wow I wouldn’t blame you for checking under your bed but why would your sister tell your something like that? I’ll admit that’s definitely creepy though and it caught me off guard when I saw all the capitals but I should expect that from you xD Be careful though and don’t let any creepy ladies sleep under your bed. That’s definitely a no.

Fact: When I was small my grandpa would tell me all the horror stories and fables of Mexico because we have a lot and since my uncles were around and they would be more like brothers to me they would tell me that if I wasn’t careful one of the monsters would pull my feet while I’m sleeping. I didn’t believe them so I would just call them stupid and walk away but one night they thought it would be fun to pull my feet while I was sleeping and I woke up terrified and screaming and kicked one of them in the face which resulted in a broken nose. To this day I have to have my feet covered or close to me or my anxiety will act up and I’ll get terrified.

Fact: Despite my age I still sleep with a stuffed animal and I still look at myself in the mirror while I sing with my hairbrush
Anonymous

D’aww that’s actually really cute and silly and I believe that no matter your age you’re never too old or young to sleep with a stuffed animal. You go right ahead and snuggle the life out of your plushie companion.

Fact: I have a bear and an alpaca that are a must have in my bed cause I have to be snuggling one or both or I can’t sleep. And when I’m also left home alone I usually turn my tv to the music channel and have my own little musical inside my house that involves me dancing all around the house and jumping on the couch xD
